Lonergan Partners is pleased to announce that Brock Alston has been named Vice President Sales at MapD Technologies, Inc. The search was led by Dotty Schaffer.

About Brock

Brock brings over 25 years of experience to his role in leading global sales, marketing and support activities at MapD. Brock was most recently responsible for global field operations at Pepperdata, the leader in real-time Hadoop optimization. Prior to that, Brock ran sales for EdgeSpring, an analytics company acquired by Salesforce in 2013. Additionally, Brock has held sales leadership roles at Vertica, Oracle, Enkata, Brio Technology and Sigma Dynamics. Before his software-focused career, he was an Aerospace Engineer at Lockheed and Aerospace Corporation.

Brock has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Purdue University.
