Lonergan Partners is pleased to announce that Gary Szilagyi has been named Vice President, Sales at Atheros.

About Gary

Gary L. Szilagyi joined Atheros in 2006. He is currently the vice president of Atheros’ Consumer Business Unit, where he drives the development and marketing of connectivity solutions for consumer electronics. Gary previously led Atheros’ Computing and Consumer Business and served as vice president of worldwide sales from 2006 to early 2010, during which time the company nearly doubled its revenue and expanded its leadership in the computing, mobile and networking markets.

Prior to joining Atheros, he was the vice president of worldwide sales at Greenfield Networks, and vice president of sales for Marvell Semiconductor’s Communications Business Unit. He has also led sales organizations at Galileo Technology and Integrated Devices Technology.

Gary has a BS from the University of California, Santa Barbara and a Master in Business Administration from San Jose State University.
