Lonergan Partners is pleased to announce that George Palmer has been named Vice President, Operations at Quantance. The search was led by Dotty Schaffer.
About George
George has more than 35 years of experience in the semiconductor industry. He has successfully led companies through fast, high volume production ramp-ups, including implementation of business and quality systems, to support top tier customers. Most recently George was Vice President of Operations for Pixim, Inc., a producer of video CMOS image sensors. He also served in similar roles at SiBEAM, PortalPlayer, Bermai and Quantum3D. George began his career at Fairchild Semiconductor Corporation and went on to work at National Semiconductor Corporation for almost a decade.
George earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.

Quantance is a venture-backed semiconductor startup based in Silicon Valley, founded in 2006 to build the industry’s fastest power supplies. There are many applications for Quantance technology but Quantance plans initially to address the mobile wireless market by harvesting the transmit power and efficiency benefits achievable for 3G and 4G/LTE systems.
