Lonergan Partners is pleased to announce that Carlos Alonso has been named Vice President, Engineering-NET/MRI at Infoblox. The search was led by Mark Lonergan.

About Carlos

Prior to joining Infoblox, Carlos served as a Senior Director, System and Software Unit at STEC-Inc. where he was responsible for development, QA, Program Management and Product Direction. Prior to STEC-Inc., Carlos was Senior Director at Blue Coat Systems leading all of the Wan Optimization Engineering team. In addition, Carlos headed software development for Blue Coat Security Gateway Protocols and Anti-virus Appliances. Before working at Blue Coat, he also headed software development at Brocade Communications. Carlos served at Digital Equipment Corporation and Tandem Computers as an individual contributor.

Carlos holds a Masters in Computer Engineering from Boston University and BS in Electrical Engineering from Tulane University.
