Lonergan Partners is pleased to announce that Desmond Lynch has been named Vice President FP&A at Rambus. The search was led by Michael Cunningham.

About Desmond

Desmond has over 20 years financial management experience where he began his career in public accounting and has spent the last fifteen years in the semiconductor industry. Prior to joining Rambus, Desmond served as VP of Finance at Renesas Electronics, where he was head of US Finance overseeing all financial aspects of the US division of the Japanese parent company. He led the finance integration of Integrated Device Technology into the US entity of Renesas and also drove and delivered significant cost synergies. Earlier he served as Director of FP&A at Atmel Corporation and also had a six year tenure at National Semiconductor where he held a variety of progressive finance roles. Desmond is a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS) and also holds a Bachelors of Accountancy degree from the University of Glasgow in Scotland.
