Lonergan Partners is pleased to announce that Tony Alvarez has been named Executive Vice President, Infineon Memory Solutions. This executive appointment is the result of a global search process led by Partners Mark Lonergan and Kirsten Settle.

About Tony

Tony is an accomplished senior executive in the semiconductor and solar industries. Most recently he was CEO of Solaria where he was responsible for all aspects of Solaria’s business in clean energy and residential solar. Prior, Tony was President and CEO at Altierre and held C-level roles at Aptina Imaging, Advanced Analogic Technologies and Leadis Technology. Tony's experience also includes serving as Senior Vice President of the Memory Products Division at Cypress Semiconductor. In addition, Tony currently serves on the board of directors at NexGen Power Systems. Prior to that, he was chairman at SunEdison Semiconductor and served as a board member at SunEdison, ChipMOS Technology, and Validity Sensors. Tony earned a B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
