Lonergan Partners is pleased to announce that Robert ‘Bob’ Jandro has been named Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Infinera. The search was led by Mark Lonergan.

About Robert

Prior to joining Infinera, Bob served as VP of Business Development of Openwater Software, Inc., a big data and analytics cloud company, and CEOand President of nSite Software, Inc., an early cloud company acquired by Business Objects. Before joining nSite, Bob served as the EVP of Global Sales and Services for ONI Systems. Joining pre-revenue, he built and led a worldwide sales and support organization. During this time, he also participated as a Member of the Executive Staff in raising $1 billion in capital through an IPO in 2000 and follow-on offerings. Bob worked at Oracle from 1996 to 2000 where he last served as the Group VP of Oracle’s Communications and Utilities Industries. With responsibility for sales, support, professional services, and business development for these markets, his team represented $400 million in revenue. Before joining Oracle, he worked for 14 years at Tandem Computers where he last served as Managing Director of the EMEAdivision. He also held several other sales and marketing management positions.

Bob earned a Masters of Management degree from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a B.S. in Business from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
