About Chris
Chris has nearly 20 years of experience in the semiconductor industry where he began his career in optical networking communications as a design engineer. Before joining Infineon, Chris was Vice President & General Manager for the Advanced Microelectronics Technology group at Mercury Systems, a leader in trusted, secure mission-critical technologies for aerospace and defense, based in Phoenix, AZ. Before Mercury, Chris had a 17-year tenure at Texas Instruments (TI), starting in Worldwide Product Marketing and quickly being promoted to General Manager for a newly formed spin-out product line consisting of ESD/EMI, High voltage surge, and analog protection chips. In his latest role at TI as Vice President & General Manager - Standard Logic and High Reliability, Chris successfully defined a clear charter and strategy for the recently created Standard Logic and HiRel business unit, achieving significant revenue and operating profit increase for the company. In addition to his work experience, Chris is active with multiple charities and has served on the Board for the nonprofit Literacy Instruction for Texas (LIFT) and is the coauthor of several U.S. patents. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas and an MBA from Southern Methodist University.
