Lonergan Partners is pleased to announce the appointment of Professor Youngme Moon to the board of directors of Groq Inc., a global market leader technology company with innovations in artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and high performance computing (HPC). The search was led by Mark Lonergan.

About Professor Youngme Moon

Professor Moon is the Donald K. David Professor of Business at Harvard Business School. Her research sits at the intersection of strategy, branding innovation, and culture, with a particular focus on youth and the digital economy. She is the author of the bestselling book, Different, and she has published and sold more than two million case studies on companies ranging from Starbucks to IKEA to Uber. She currently co-hosts a weekly podcast, After Hours, presented by TED.

Professor Moon serves on the Board of Directors of Mastercard, Unilever, Warby Parker and Sweetgreen; she also works with a number of early-stage startups (Whoop, Basic.Space, and others). At HBS, she has launched a number of strategic innovations, including the MBA FIELD curriculum and the Harvard Business Online learning platform. She has served as Senior Associate Dean for strategy and innovation, as well as Senior Associate Dean for the MBA Program. She has received the HBS Student Association Faculty Award for teaching excellence multiple times; she is also the inaugural recipient of the Hellman Faculty Fellowship, awarded for distinction in research.

Professor Moon received her Ph.D. from Stanford University, her M.A. from Stanford University, and her B.A. from Yale University. Prior to joining HBS, she was on the faculty at MIT.
