Lonergan Partners is pleased to announce that Tim Ritchie has been named as the President of The Tech Museum.

About Tim

Tim comes to The Tech Museum from The McWane Science Center in Birmingham, Alabama, where he has been CEO and President. While at McWane he is credited with increasing visitor attendance, growing the endowment, installing new exhibits and developing fresh, community-driven education initiatives. Prior to his museum successes, he worked as an attorney, educator, community developer and advocate for people with disabilities.

He holds a Master’s in Public Administration from Harvard University, a JD from Duke University, and a BA from Davidson College.

What inspires me most about The Tech Museum is its aspiration to help people experience the power of innovation and technology. Innovation and technology are practical expressions of imagination. It is a lofty goal to make these things come alive in a museum and that is the challenge I look forward to undertaking at The Tech Museum.
