Lonergan Partners is pleased to announce that Harold "Hal" Covert has been named Chief Financial Officer at Carbice, a leader in carbon nanotube technology. This appointment was the result of a global search process led by Kirsten Settle.
About Harold
Harold "Hal" Covert previously served as Chief Financial Officer of Imagine Communications Corporation, a multi-media software company, from 2019 to 2022 and as Chief Financial Officer of Harmonic, Inc., a multi-media appliance and software company, from 2015 to 2017.
Hal also served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Lumos Networks Corporation, a fiber-based service provider from 2011 to 2014, and President, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Silicon Image, Inc., a provider of semiconductors for storage, distribution, and presentation of high-definition content, from 2007 to 2010. Over the course of his career, Hal has been the Chief Financial Officer of eight technology-based public companies.
Hal has also served as a public company board director for many technology companies including: Lumentum Holdings, Inc., JDS Uniphase, Inc., Harmonic, Inc., Solta Medical, Inc., Silicon Image, Inc., Openwave Systems, Inc. and Splash Technology, Inc. - and he has served as Chair of the Audit Committee at five of the aforementioned Boards.
Hal holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Lake Erie College and a Master of Business Administration degree from Cleveland State University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Global Management Accountant.
