About Larry
Larry is a technology executive with experience in raising capital, developing products, and growing businesses rapidly. Most recently, he served as CEO of PLUMgrid, a virtual networking company acquired by VMware. Other prior startups include Quorum, providing cloud-based disaster recovery, and Ipsilon, the pioneer of IP switching acquired by Nokia. Larry worked at Cisco for many years, ultimately as general manager of the mobile service provider business unit, which created the data infrastructure for the initial iPhone launch. Larry has served as advisor and board director for many companies, including Netsil, acquired by Nutanix, and BelAir, acquired by Ericsson. He started his career at Bellcore.
Larry holds a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from Duke University and a master of science degree in operations research from Stanford University.
