Lonergan Partners is pleased to announce that Ashot Melik-Martirosian has been named Vice President Program Management at d-Matrix, the pioneer in efficient low-latency AI inference compute platform for data centers. This appointment was the result of a global search process led by Co-Managing Partner Kirsten Settle.

About Ashot

Ashot is an accomplished executive with a strong background in AI/ML program management, product leadership, and engineering innovation. Ashot has successfully created and managed AI products in both large complex organizations as well as in small startups. As a founding Director of Technical Program Management at Cerebras Systems, he drove the planning and execution in the Inference Service organization and qualified for production several new datacenters, increasing inference service capacity by 5X. During his tenure at Meta (formerly Facebook), he was a founding TPM of a major new program in the Monetization Organization, that increased the size and complexity of ML ranking models across Meta's portfolio, resulting in a multi-billion dollar increase in company revenue. Earlier in his career, he co-founded an AI medical device startup and held various engineering management and research positions at semiconductor storage and memory companies, such as Western Digital, Sandisk, and AMD. Ashot holds a Ph.D. in Applied Physics from Yale University.

Ashot Melik-Martirosian is a seasoned program management executive with extensive experience driving complex, high-performance systems. In his role as Vice President of Program Management at d-Matrix, Ashot will be partnering directly with CEO/Founder Sid Sheth, helping to advance d-Matrix’s pioneering efforts in AI and datacenter compute. His proven ability to deliver at-scale execution across product, engineering, and operations will be a critical lever as d-Matrix brings its next-generation inference platform to at scale production.
