Lonergan Partners is pleased to announce that Edward Martin has been named Vice President, Global Human Resources at Atheros.

About Edward

Prior to joining Atheros, Ed was Director, Global Learning at Xilinx and prior to Xilinx was VP of Human Resources at Pixar Animation Studios for six years. Prior to Pixar Ed’s roles have included international human resource roles at leading Silicon Valley firms such as Tandem Computers, Intuit and Silicon Graphics.

He has a degree Business Administration from San Jose State University.

In 2008, Ed was promoted to Vice President of Professional Development where he is responsible for the development of Atheros’ people and organizations as well as employee communications. Ed stayed with Atheros after its acquistion by Qualcomm in May, 2011.
